I think AI's rapid development is a very serious threat our institutions should be taking more seriously. I joined PauseAI because I see that superintelligence would likely be misaligned and lead to catastrophe. We cannot afford to take that risk, and PauseAI are pushing for real action to pause frontier development. I also love being creative, and find AI's increasingly intrusive demolition of human artistry deeply tragic, and want to help build a better framework for AI governance as a whole.
